About Us

OVERVIEW

The Cure Cancer Cup Regatta is an annual boating and community event hosted by King Harbor Yacht Club in Redondo Beach, California. The event brings together racers, families, and local businesses to support cancer research through a focused, community-driven effort.

TOM COLLIER LEGACY

The regatta honors Tom Collier, a valued member of the King Harbor sailing community. The event reflects the spirit of connection, participation, and generosity that defined his involvement with the club.

CHARITABLE MISSION

Funds raised through the regatta support cancer research initiatives coordinated through Cedars-Sinai, including programs led by Dr. Paquette. Contributions are directed toward advancing treatment, improving patient outcomes, and supporting ongoing medical research.

To date, the regatta initiative has raised over $850,000, with a continued goal of reaching $1 million.
